Holistic Approach To Eye Care

Having just completed specialized training in restoring low vision at Acupuncture University, Copenhagen, Denmark, Kathy Hanold, RN,MS,Dipl.Ac. pleased to announce this treatment is now available in Chicago.

Kathy studied with John Boels, renowned European acupuncturist, who has treated over 6,000 patients world-wide for vision impairment. His technique (Acunova) is being taught to physicians and acupuncturists throughout Europe, with the hope of helping thousands of patients with degenerative eye disease.

Conventional medicine offers little hope at this time for patients with these conditions once diagnosed. Many patients are now seeking Chinese Medicine as a last alternative to help restore their lost vision. The Danes have demonstrated that 80% of their patients treated over the past 25 years had had some vision improvement with this technique.

Kathy is now one of 6 acupuncturists in the US who has been certified in the use of Acunova.
